About me

Passionate about everything visually captivating, I became interested in photography during my adolescence when I received an old film SLR camera as a gift. Immediately fascinated by the possibilities this medium offered, I began experimenting and discovered a new way to express myself and create.

An enthusiastic traveller with a curiosity to explore the world, I left Italy, my home country, at the age of 20 and moved abroad: to Ireland, Belgium, the Maldives, and finally Laos. My passion for photography accompanied me throughout my travels, during which I attended specialised photography courses and sharpened my technical skills.

My professional photography career began in Brussels, where I worked on numerous event photoshoots for businesses and associations, as well as portrait sessions for individuals. It was also in Belgium that I started collaborating with a photography agency specialising in wedding photography.

In 2017, I left Belgium and continued my photography career in Laos, where I carried out many photo reports for international organisations. In 2019, I returned to Europe and settled in the south of France, in Marseille, where I started my freelance photography business.

FAQ

Do you cover events outside of Marseille ?

Yes, I travel throughout France and even abroad, on demand.

Do you apply extra fees for events outside of Marseille?

Travel expenses within a 30km radius of Marseille are included. For locations beyond this, travel costs will be discussed and agreed upon with the client, depending on the project.

Do you work alone or within a team?

I work alone, which allows me to maintain a consistent style in the production and delivery of my images, as well as keep costs down, offering my clients competitive prices.

Do you cover more than one event per day?

No, I usually only cover one event per day. This allows me greater flexibility to better meet my clients’ needs.

Do you charge by the hour or per event?

I charge by the hour. A discounted hourly rate is possible for longer events.

How far in advance should I book?

It is always best to book as early as possible. That being said, I may accept bookings with shorter notice when my workload is lighter.

What payment methods do you accept?

Payment can be made in cash, by cheque, or by bank transfer.

When is the payment due?

Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice being issued.

How long will I have to wait to receive my photos?

The full set of retouched photos will be delivered within 7 to 10 days after the event. A smaller selection of photos can also be delivered within 24 hours to meet any immediate communication needs.

How many photos will I receive at the end of the shoot?

The number of photos delivered depends on the type and duration of the event. A minimum number of retouched photos is guaranteed for each shoot. The number of final images is often higher than initially agreed upon.

How do you deliver the retouched photos?

The photos are delivered to the client digitally via WeTransfer. An online gallery can also be created, allowing you to share and download your photos.

What type of photography equipment do you use?

I use professional, state-of-the-art photography equipment, such as the Canon EOS R6 full-frame digital camera and high-quality lenses with wide apertures. This allows me to capture high-quality images, even in low-light conditions.

What if one of your cameras malfunctions during the shoot?

No one is immune to technical failures or accidents. For this reason, I always work with a minimum of two professional cameras. This ensures quicker execution and a greater safety margin.

Do you personally retouch your photos, or do you outsource the editing?

Committed to the final quality of my work, I personally handle the selection and retouching of photos using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop software.

What about image copyrights?

The photographer retains the copyright of their work and reserves the right to use certain images for the promotion of their business online and/or in print.
The client will, of course, receive the right to use all the photos across any media, for an unlimited period.
